One common mistake people make about their dental care is avoiding it until later. The problem with this attitude is that nearly all dental conditions are progressive, meaning they start small and continue growing until you seek treatment. This can be understood in financial terms as well as health and comfort.
For example, if you have a tooth cavity that we detect early and fill while small, the cost is negligible. However, fast-forward a year or two, and that little cavity can grow into a large hole that compromises your inner tooth, causing infection and your need for root canal treatment.
